Sterling Silver Angel Pendant with Green Amber Wings

This is a sweet design for a pendant!  The angel is facing away from us with the hair flowing down the back.  The 'wings' feature to teardrop-shaped dark green Baltic Amber gemstones.

Amber is a 30 million year old tree resin that is petrified (hardened into a rock-like substance).  The little sparkles inside are made up of air bubbles and water bubbles that were trapped in the sap - when it was liquid.  The green shade is achieved by heating the original orange shade of amber.

To care for your piece - just use warm, soapy water and a cleaning cloth.  Amber is an organic stone that is a little softer so you should store this pendant separately to prevent chips/scratches.  Avoid chemical cleaners and hairsprays and perfumes.
